The Future of Sustainable Information Technology 

“(PCs) have become ubiquitous in the homes and offices of the industrialised world. Manufacturing, sales, management, medicine, etc., depend on computers… to function efficiently.” – Kuehr, R. & Williams, E. (2007) 

 Despite this dependence on I.T., very little has been done to negate the negative environmental impact of computers through energy consumption, e-waste, and depletion of natural resources.
